Total Security Services International, Inc. Releases New Virtual Emergency Response Simulation Tool ResponderVIEW™ will enable First Responders to easily identify critical areas in a facility such as locations of hazardous materials and gas and water control valves

Silver Spring, MD—Total Security Services International, Inc. (TSSI) today unveiled a new tool that will dramatically improve how emergency responders and planners prepare for and respond to emergencies at critical facilities such as schools, hospitals, hotels, and office buildings. ResponderVIEW™ will provide a virtual guidance system that emergency first responders can use to find critical areas in a facility such as the location of hazardous materials on site or the gas and water control valves.

“We're very excited about the release of our new ResponderVIEW™ product,” said Don L. Rondeau, TSSI President & CEO. “The virtual tools ResponderVIEW™ will make available to America's emergency first responders will allow them to quickly navigate potentially hazardous obstacles in buildings. That knowledge will ultimately save lives and we're very proud to be a part of this effort.”

Developed by TSSI's team of security and disaster planning experts, the ResponderVIEW™ Virtual Infrastructure Emergency Workspace™ is an intelligent virtual environment that enables effective capture, sharing and renewal of knowledge about critical facilities and infrastructure. The revolutionary new tool will assist emergency first responders in disaster planning exercises by allowing them to fully engage in role playing scenarios. It will also play a vital role in actual disaster situations by giving emergency first responders real time information on the location of vitally important systems within a building.

ResponderVIEW™ has been accepted into the FEMA Responder Knowledge Base (www.rkb.us). The Responder Knowledge Base is sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security. Its mission is to provide emergency responders, purchasers, and planners with a trusted, integrated, online source of information on products, standards, certifications, grants, and other equipment-related information. Further information on the ResponderVIEW™ system and related services is available on both TSSI's website at www.tssi-inc.com and on the FEMA Responder Knowledge Base website at https://www.rkb.us/contentdetail.cfm?content_id=221714.
