Capt. Raymond Brown (Ret), Subject Matter Expert and Master Trainer

Captain Raymond Brown is currently a Senior Subject Matter Expert and Master Trainer for TSSI’s Transportation Security Protection program. He offers specialized maritime and land security experience and possesses unmatched threat vulnerability and assessment as well as security awareness training experience. Captain Brown departed USCG active duty in late 2000 after having been a former Chief of Analysis in the Coast Guard’s Intelligence Center, Chief of Law Enforcement in the Northeast United States, and having served on the White House staff as a military aide. He has developed several highly successful anti-terrorism training programs within the transportation sector, including courses for the American Bus Association, the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority and Logan Airport.
Captain Brown was selected to teach security awareness at MASSPORT in the wake of the 9/11 attacks and was a member of a Federal Transit Administration security assistance team which worked in San Francisco, Boston, Newark, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C. Also, as an associate of TSSI’s predecessor organization, he built the pilot anti-terrorism security course for the American Bus Association.
