Samuel B. Beatty, Vice President, Operations

Mr. Samuel B. Beatty serves as Vice President of Operations at TSSI, Inc. Mr. Beatty brings more than 40 years of senior level executive experience to TSSI, Inc. and served as Executive Vice President of TSSI's predecessor organization. He is currently responsible for corporate financial management, business development, planning, logistics and administration at TSSI, as well as directing TSSI’s Trucking Security Program. Mr. Beatty’s background encompasses the following expertise: transition plan design and management; program and contract management of federal government contracts; program planning, information dissemination; communications; logistics and business development; and association management.

Mr. Beatty has over 30 years of extensive senior-level experience in business, mostly in the information processing industry ranging from Executive Director of the American Society for Information Science to serving as President of three private sector firms. He served as General Manager of Contec North America, Inc. and Director of Information Clearinghouse. In these positions he gained knowledge of project planning, operational management, publication development and production, inventory and dissemination, outreach and promotion, library services, marketing, advertising, public relations and field testing and research. As the President of Information on Demand, Inc. and Director for PATH Services, Inc. and Documents, Inc., Mr. Beatty developed and directed transition planning and execution, team training, long range planning, material archival plans, contract management, business administration. Mr. Beatty’s expertise includes domestic and international sales, product development, electronic distribution and mergers/acquisitions.
